Nigel Williams Biography
Nigel was born and raised in West London. His family were pioneers of the London Underground and also have a proud history in the armed forces. Nigel's childhood interest was in music, which led to school concerts, orchestras and rock bands. But in his teenage years, it was radio that captured his imagination. Nigel entered into radio professionally straight from university. He was chosen from thousands of hopefuls who applied to a new radio station in Guildford. Since then he has worked all over the UK. It was Love Songs that brought Nigel his first taste of big success. Cuddle On The Couch became a huge phenomenon for Chiltern Radio. The show was syndicated around the country.

At Heart 106.2, Late Night Love Songs became the station's first Market Leading daily show and dominated the night-time ratings for years. The show evolved from a classic romantic music affair into a chill-out zone designed for every stressed out Londoner. Late Night Love Songs defining feature was Love Letters, the true-life relationship stories is sent in by listeners. This proved so popular that Nigel published Love Letters Straight From the Heart -True Stories of Passion & Heartbreak.
Nigel took a closer look at sex & relationships when he teamed up with Dr Pam Spurr to present Heart 2 Heart. This three-year partnership provided Heart 106.2 with a Sony Award and Londoners with plenty to talk about!
Nigel's radio career has continued and he can now be heard on Jazz Fm's Breakfast Show and London's Smooth Radio.
Nigel is a self taught Home-Chef. He has even entertained Michael Winner at his home in front of the TV cameras.
Nigel's other hobbies includeTriathlon, Cycling, Languages and has recently taken part in various running events. Nigel lives in Ealing with Estelle and children Antonia (10) and Harry (6).
